Tiny Moons Room
Our baby unit caters for babies from birth up to 15 months.
There are lots of cosy areas where babies can feel safe and secure and experience quiet periods, listen to stories and enjoy songs and rhymes with a staff member.
The focus in the baby unit is very much around personal, social and emotional development and we work hard to form close attachments with the babies and their families. We offer heuristic play and lots of sensory based activities.
We also plan alot of our activities and experiences around early communication and language development, we do this through reading, singing, rhyming and running commentary during all activities.
The babies have their own dedicated areas for sleep, meal times and outdoor play – outdoor experiences are offered on a daily basis as well as visiting our dedicated sensory room.
Mini Moons Room
Our baby unit caters 15 to 24 months.

Little Moons Room
Our toddler unit caters for children from 24 to 36 months and offers a large messy room and a smaller room for quieter focused activities.
There are lots of interesting, exciting areas to explore and investigate, including sand, water, malleable, creative, construction and small world. We also have dedicated areas for imaginative play such as our beautiful home corner and role play areas and of course quiet cosy areas where children can relax and enjoy peaceful periods.
The focus in the toddler unit is very much around early language and communication development and we base all of our activities around promoting this.
We use a language assessment tool called Wellcomm to fully support childrens language development.
Little Stars Room
Our Pre-school unit caters for children from the age of three, until they leave to go to school.
We provide lots of educational areas and activities where children can explore, investigate and learn to problem solve.
We heavily focus on preparing children for moving on to school and we ensure all children are emotionally and academically ready for this transition.
Our pre-school unit offers continuous outdoor provision so the children are able to access the outdoor environment as and when they wish.
We teach phonics on a daily basis following a program called LetterLand – LetterLand is fun and educational and prepares children for early reading and writing.
